Getting Help
Before asking, please:
- Search the documentation and FAQ — questions already answered there may not get a reply.
- Make sure you are on the latest version — your issue may already be fixed.
When reporting an issue, include:
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Version info | ZMusic version, server type and version (e.g. Paper 1.21.1) |
| Full log | The complete log from when the error occurred, shared via mclo.gs — do not paste long logs into chat |
| Reproduction steps | What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead |
A good question looks like this
❌ "music not working, help"
✅ "Paper 1.21.1 + ZMusic 4.0.0-dev, running /zmusic play <song> shows xxx. Full log: https://mclo.gs/xxxxxx"
Describe your problem and what you have already tried directly — no need to ask "anyone here?" first.
Rules
- Be respectful — no harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or threats against anyone.
- No NSFW, gore, or illegal content — in any form, including text, images, links, and voice.
- No spam — no flooding, walls of repetitive text, or emoji/reaction spam.
- No unsolicited advertising — server hosting, paid services, and similar promotions require prior approval from a moderator.
- No invite links to other servers without permission.
Enforcement
Moderators act at their discretion. The usual escalation is warning → timeout → ban, but severe violations may lead to an immediate ban. If you believe a moderation action was a mistake, contact a moderator privately instead of arguing in public channels.
